We are used to having one like this:

Generic Bootscreen

But that bootscreen can easily be changed to one of the following with the use of a free program from Stardock:

Bootscreen 1 Bootscreen 2 Bootscreen 3

1.) Download and install BootSkin from Download.com (Free)

2.) Go to http://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=32 to download a bootskin. (The bootscreens above are: World Edition, Pirated Edition, and the Think Different Edition)

3.) Launch the BootSkin application and select File > Import from File..

4.) Locate the bootscreen that you downloaded earlier and select Open

5.) BootSkin will notify you that the import was sucessfull (or not)

6.) Select Preview from the bottom to preview the bootscreen in action, or select Apply

7.) All done! If you want to learn how to make your own bootskins, visit http://www.joeuser.com/articles.asp?c=1&aid=1886
